As part of United's Core Values, reaching out to support social responsibility initiatives is vital to the corporate culture. We address this on several fronts: locally through the Home Office; on national levels; and with specific regional levels that vary by year.
On a national level, United selected to partner with Cleaning for a Reason, a charitable organization which was selected by the employee-owners of United as one that can help make a difference in a situation with which everyone can relate. Whenever our customers buy United products, a portion of those sales goes to help support Cleaning for a Reason as they provide support to those with cancer. Since 2014, we've also been supporting the Jimmy Jack Foundation that works to empower youth through the gift of music – providing instruments and coaching – as they reach for their dreams.
Locally, our employee-owners donate to our annual drives, including Toys For Tot; and food donations for the Northern Illinois Food Bank. In recent years we've been able to help rebuild homes with our local Habitat for Humanity organization. We're proud of the generosity of our employee-owners who so generously provide for these events.

For more than 75 years, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program has been delivering hope and joy to children in need during the holiday season. By providing the gift of a new toy, Toys for Tots helps bring the magic of Christmas to life and inspires a brighter outlook for the future. Once again this year, United employees embraced the spirit of giving by generously collecting and donating toys to support this meaningful mission. This marks the 15th consecutive year our team has proudly partnered with Toys for Tots—reflecting United’s ongoing commitment to making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work.
United is incredibly proud to celebrate 11 years of partnership with the Northern Illinois Food Bank! Thanks to the ongoing generosity of our employees, we have collected over 7,000 lbs of food to date to support families in need throughout the region.
