2018 Points Beyond - Aruba
For those who qualify, the 2018 Points Beyond destination will be at the Hyatt Regency Resort, Spa & Casino in Aruba! Aruba is a small island just 19 miles long by five miles wide and is extremely clean and safe with glorious white-sand beaches. You don’t have to worry about drinking bottled water only and there are no fears as to where to eat if you venture out. The hardest thing is deciding where to go with so many wonderful options.
The Hyatt Regency Resort
The Hyatt is one of the best places to be on the island. It has gift shops, restaurants, bars, an 8,000 sq. foot three-level pool with a two-story waterslide,
a freshwater lagoon stocked with tropical fish and wildlife, Zoia Spa and beauty salon, Fitness Center,
two lighted tennis courts, a Beach Tennis court, casino and near-by an 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones II.
The rooms at the Hyatt are comfortable and United has contracted run of the house rooms — we negotiated with the Hyatt to block
out any standard room which would have had just a tiny window to look out of. Instead, with the Run of the House, you can expect a
garden view, partial ocean view or ocean/pool view. It all depends what they have open when you check in.
Kind of like “Are you feeling lucky today?” No matter what type of room you receive, believe me… it will be the last place you will want to be.
